A genuine North American mountain Ash shafted two-piece cue, 3/4 jointed and hand spliced with African Ebony. The butt is ‘five way' hand spliced with a combination of Dark Maple Burl wood and additional African Ebony.
The cue takes its name from one of the constellations of the zodiac. Its name is Latin for scorpion, and its symbol is (Unicode ♏). Scorpius is one of the 48 constellations identified by the Greek astronomer Ptolemy in the second century.
